I'm Kinga, the founder of Mujo. About three years ago, I found myself pulling my proverbial hair out. I was a new mom back at my demanding job as a start-up CFO. I was grappling with mom guilt and trying to strike that delicate balance of professional success and being a present family member. Like many overworked and overachieving humans, I was running low on sleep and high on anxiety. Instead of helping, coffee was losing its effectiveness. I was on a fast track to burnout.

I may be a pragmatic economist by training, but my essence is deeply rooted in kitchen alchemy. Over a decade ago, I watched my dad fight a losing battle against cancer. It was then I began to learn about the extraordinary power of adaptogens, mushrooms, and Ayurveda. At 56, he was much too young to go, leaving three daughters in their 20s behind, missing out on walking us down the aisle and meeting his grandchildren. Compelled to take a proactive approach to my own health and wellness, I began to lean on Mother Nature and biohacking.
